REIC MALAYSIA – PRIVACY NOTICE

1. Introduction
In compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (“the Act”) and its regulations, this notice is issued to all our valued clients and/or prospective clients. This Notice will inform you of your rights with regards to your personal data that has been and/or will be, collected and processed by us.
2. Collection of Personal Data
We have collected and will collect your personal data to be processed by us and/or on your behalf in the course of your present or future dealings with REIC Sdn Bhd, its subsidiary(ies), its associated company(ies) (“we”, “our”, “us” or “Company”). Your personal data enables us to achieve the purposes herein that are in connection with our business.
Data Retention: We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, regulatory, accounting, or reporting requirements. When your personal data is no longer required, it will be securely destroyed or permanently anonymized.

The personal data we collect and process may include, but is not limited to:

- Identity Card number or Passport number;

The Company will use clients’ personal data for the following purposes including but not limited to:

5. Sources of Personal Data
The Company may obtain clients’ personal data from the following sources including but not limited to:

We may disclose client’s personal data to other subsidiaries within our group, which will treat such data as confidential in accordance with this Privacy Policy. We may also involve third parties in the processing of personal data, including:
- Service Providers, Contractors, and Vendors (Data Processors);
- Professional advisors, including auditors, accountants, and consultants;
- Regulatory bodies and government authorities. We are responsible for the personal data under our control and take every measure to provide a comparable level of protection should the information be processed by an external Vendor.

The Company uses strict procedures and security features to prevent unauthorized access wherever possible. Personal data provided via our website, applications, or online transactions is protected during transit using encryption such as Transport Layer Security (TLS). When personal data is stored, we use computer systems with limited access housed in facilities utilizing physical security measures. We are committed to providing a comparable level of protection for personal data should the information be processed, stored, or used outside Malaysia by our vendors, experts, or corporate group.
11. Marketing and Promotional Purposes
Upon subscribing to or engaging with our services, you may receive marketing and/or promotional emails or calls from us, including information on promotions and future events. If you do not wish to receive any promotional news, please click the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of the email to be excluded from our newsletters and contact.
Automated Web Advertising: You may also be subject to automated web advertising, personalized ads, and retargeting marketing campaigns based on your online behavior and your interactions with our website. 12. Data Subject's Obligations
It is necessary for the Company to collect and to retain clients’ personal data. Therefore, it is obligatory for clients to supply personal data to us in the most accurate manner. If clients do not provide us with personal data, we are unable to process data on your behalf, effectively render our services, and all relationships created or to be created between us shall be terminated and cease to be in effect immediately.

As a data subject, you hold the following rights under the Act:
- Right to Request Access: You have the right to request access to your personal data processed by us upon reasonable notice.
- Right to Request Correction: You have the right to request the correction or update of your personal data that is inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated.
- Right to Limit Processing: You are entitled to limit our processing of your personal data by expressly withdrawing the consent given previously, including for direct marketing purposes, subject to legal or contractual restrictions.
14. Changes to Privacy Policy

15. Conflict of Language
Language Prevalence: In accordance with Section 7(3) of the Personal Data Protection Act 2010, this Policy is issued in both English and Malaysian. In the event of any inconsistency, conflict, or discrepancy between the English version and the Bahasa Malaysia version, the English version shall prevail.
16. Acknowledgement and Consent
By communicating or engaging with the Company, or by using the Company’s products, services, and website, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Notice and agree and consent to the use, processing, disclosure, and transfer of your personal data by the Company as described in this Notice. Any marketing email sent to you will contain an automated unsubscribe link. You can also withdraw your consent at any time by written notice or by filling in the dedicated form on our website.
